OMC stern drive props are made of both aluminum and stainless steel. Their specialty is that they can be mounted on the stringer of the boat. After the stringer mounted props, OMC introduced new props to suit their new Cobra stern drive. A choice of propellers in various pitches, and functions are available. Three and four blade props are available. The blades are available as cupped, double cupped and triple cupped for stern drive pontoon boats. The props have powder coating and strong rubber bushes. They are affordable and can be used as primary and as an emergency spares 3 blade Aluminum props were designed for smaller stern drive boat engines. Heavy duty stainless steel props were used in larger boats that ply in shallow waters. Sleek and high performance props are also available. Some aluminum props manufactured by OMC claimed to provide stainless steel performance with regard to strength and durability.

OMC props are still available though they are not manufactured my the original company. New and used OMC props can be purchased online. Props of other manufacturers are a good fit for OMC stern drive motors. The marine company Bombardier still supplies new accessories for OMC stern drive motors.
