Propeller Basics

Portable props for 2 stroke engines and props for four stroke and jet engines are manufactured by the company. There is a perfectly matched Yamaha prop for every type of outboard engine. Three and four blade props of different diameters and pitches can be purchased. 200-300 Hp props are used for 2 stroke engines, the V6 prop is made for 4 stroke engines and the HS4 prop is for propelling the boat on high seas. High quality stainless steel and aluminum propellers that are a fit for most engines because of their universal design are available. The stainless steel used for the props are salt water resistant and can resist corrosion and ventilation on the high seas. For large boats, the props offer good planning and an excellent grip on the water. A special range of props for pontoon boats is manufactured by the company. These props have a large blade area to increase grip and reduce ventilation. The blades of each prop have different lengths for different boats.

Application

Yamaha outboard props are available to propel pontoon boats, bass boats and small recreation boats. The props can be used for pleasure boats and larger commercial boats.
